Creation Myth – The Awakening

Prior to this period of tranquility, the balance within her was unstable. She wavered under unseen forces, tilting and lurching in uneven motion. Around her, the void was not empty but alive with wandering fragments— rocky projectiles that struck without warning. The impacts were destructive but inevitable.

It was the particularly devastating collision of a massive solid body that catapulted pieces of her surface into space. Interested in trying out a new idea, Grafo pulled these pieces together and set them into motion around Prithvi. Consumed healing the gaping hole in her crust, Prithvi did not initially notice the work of Grafo and the spherical presence of pieces of herself moving around her. When she did notice, Prithvi was pleased. The presence of her offspring settled her wobbly rolls into a predictable rocking motion that was slight and pleasant. Prithvi felt balanced for the first time.

Prithvi’s surface continued to be impacted by debris and each time she mended herself, she became wiser. She accepted what was delivered, adapting and reshaping.

In this process, a deep awareness arose. She began to sense the patterns beneath the Law and wondered, for the first time, if she could participate in it.

From this question, an impulse emerged and a longing to deliberately create took root.

With her inner core burning hot and fierce, she drew forth her fire, allowing it to rise and press against her cooling crust. The surface cracked and shifted, opening into vast chasms. Each belch from her inner core released gases that coalesced and condensed forming a dense shroud around her. This cloak was a soupy blend of molecules, and it was a particular combination that when heated by her Light formed a vapor which rained down on her surface filling her deep canyons with liquid.

As eons passed, Prithvi matured and her desire to create fully sprouted. She pursued her activities with the fervor of a savant, but as the consummate artist, she desired to discover what else she could do.

Whether by coincidence or attraction of desire, it was at this point that the seeds spread by the Catalyst collided with Prithvi and sank into her primordial waters. The seeds, marinating in this soup and nourished by her Light, sprouted and grew.
